I loved the characters in Kissing The Hero the girl was shy but an awesome songwriter. The guy was an enemy of her best friend though he had no idea why, and he had to replace her when she got mono. Layne didn't want to work with him because she thought her best friend would be mad about her working with the enemy, and it became even more difficult when she started to notice maybe he wasn't such a bad guy after all.
I've read two of the stories in this anthology, and I know the rest of the anthology is going to be amazing because of the authors who are participating in it. So if you like sweet Christmas romances, this may be a collection for you.
If Andrew was the sweet cinnamon roll and Cristian the bad boy, then Will is the funny man. His banter about old crime movies and shows with Hazel was adorable. I was so glad that he already had a crush on her before she started making any changes in order to catch the eye of the swim Captain who she had a crush on.
The second book in the series definitely did not disappoint. I didn't get to see the reappearance of Simone, but I definitely loved getting to know the rest of the girls in the squad a little bit better. And I really love the continuing theme of love doesn't always go as planned and your crush might not be the right guy.
I loved Jax, Rose, and Simone from the book Kissing the Player. I had no idea that they were also in this book, so I was pleasantly surprised. Simone was one of my favorite characters whenever she was only a side character, so to see her have her own love story was already exciting.
