The Last Hurrah
This was exciting the whole way through. I whipped through it. Despite being short, it possessed all the qualities of a well-written full length novel. Basically you get all the feels in a nicely timed bursts. Highly recommend this.
Hit (Hit Book 1)
Read it in all of 2 sessions because it was so easy to get into. The first book felt complete and was satisfying, but the hints at wants to come for book 2 show that book 1 only touched the surface. The concept of assassin debt collectors is eerily plausibly. But I wonder what the bank gets off of killing people other than scaring people with very low debt to pay up and people to not getting credit cards in the future.
