The second book in the series definitely did not disappoint. I didn't get to see the reappearance of Simone, but I definitely loved getting to know the rest of the girls in the squad a little bit better. And I really love the continuing theme of love doesn't always go as planned and your crush might not be the right guy.
I loved Jax, Rose, and Simone from the book Kissing the Player. I had no idea that they were also in this book, so I was pleasantly surprised. Simone was one of my favorite characters whenever she was only a side character, so to see her have her own love story was already exciting.
After pissing off the head of the supernatural lab, failing at befriending my fellow inmates, and pitching a temper tantrum in the underground cafeteria, it was only a matter of time before I had to do something about this whole captivity thing.
